Happiness

New theme!

OK so I’ve almost finished my ‘A Walk in the Garden’ theme and I need something new to work on, but I didn’t know what exactly to set as my new theme. So what better way to find an idea then go to Pintrest! I have a board on my Pintrest based entirely on happiness and I love all the photos I have on this board. Then it hit me, “what better way to enjoy these photos then to capture happiness and share it?” I don’t know about you but whenever I see someone smile, it will either make up a terrible day, or put a smile on my face.

I love it when people are happy or in a good mood, its one of my favorite things in the world. I hope that this theme will make people smile, just as much as it makes me smile.

I’ll publish more photos once I get them!

Happy Thursday!

Life Ahead

In today’s society, if you ask someone what they want to be when they grow up, the answer will probably be that they don’t know.

I find it quite sad really.

I know some people already have their dreams set ahead of them, but sometimes things change. Our interests change, society around us changes, everything changes. It may be over time, or it may be instant but everything changes.

When I was younger I really loved to swim, every moment I could I would go swimming. At first I thought I was secretly a mermaid, but no, I just really loved the water. Then later that year, we were learning about the Olympics, how people from all around the world gather to this one spot and play against each other in different sporting events. This is where I learnt that there’s a actual competitive sport for swimming. That day when I got home I went straight into the pool, I imagined that I was at the Olympic games and that I was in the middle of a freestyle race, it was coming close to the finish line and I was coming second. I had this last bit of energy in me and I was planning to use it right near the end. Then the moment came and I swam right past the swimmer ahead and right to the finish line. I came first. With heaps of enthusiasm I imagined getting up on stage collecting my gold medal and waving right at the cameras. Ever since then my mind was set. I wanted to be an Olympic swimmer.

Overtime my interests changed, next I wanted to be a firefighter and save lives, then a baker and fill peoples mouths with delicious pastry’s and pies, then I wanted to be a racer and amaze people with the speed of my car. Later I wanted to be a teacher and fill peoples minds with wisdom and knowledge. Later on, it was photography.

I came home from a hard day of school and turned the T.V on to this documentary about the rain forest. I wondered “how did they get this footage of all these tiny animals? They must of used all sorts of cameras and what not to get it. What a boring job would that be?” It wasn’t until I saw this flower bloom in the garden that I wanted to take a photo of it. It was amazing, but I had nothing to take the photo but with my useless iPod. Ever since then I’ve wanted to take photos of the worlds beauty and share it with the people I love. Until this day I still want to do that. The only thing that has changed is that my dream has expanded, I want to take this hobby to the next level. I want to take the camera to its limits. I want to make my photos better.

I know what I want to be, it’s when I ask someone else and they say that they don’t know that it really gets me. “How do you not know?” Is all I can think. Well I guess their still figuring out what to do with life. I know that once they have their mind set they’ll steer the boat in the right direction. They’ll then have a great life ahead of them.

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I’ve just been struggling with what to post and how to write it. Thanks so much with your patience!

Adventure

I don’t know about you, but after a long hard working day I love to just kick back with whoever is with me talk about how far we’ve come since yesterday.

Since we live such a short life we have to enjoy every bit of it.

What I love about photography is that the camera gives you the opportunity to capture those big moments that can help you to remember till the end.

Today’s photo is a photo that I took after long day of 4WD, hiking, walking and all that other stuff you do when you go adventuring. Basically we got up one morning and dad said “lets go on an adventure kids” my siblings and I all moaned as whenever dad says something like that it will end up as a disaster (meaning that something will go wrong and we’ll be stuck in the middle of nowhere with dad swearing his head off!). I’m so thankful that I live in a place where we have national parks are just at our doorstep and we can just get in the car and go for an adventure, but sometimes things can go terribly wrong and you can be stuck in the heat for hours with your father cursing at the car saying that he knew he should’ve done this or done that.

Well anyway we had nothing do that day so we got in the car and drove off to wherever dad thought there was a track that led somewhere nice. You know what? Absolutely nothing went wrong that day (except for the air-con failing and we had to put up with the heat). For once the track that dad was talking about actually led to a nice river bank in the middle of nowhere. It may have taken all day to get there and we may have found some other spots but I loved the one we found in the end. By sunset the sky went into a shade of purple and blue and the stars were out before the sun even had a chance to set on the horizon. Oh how I wish I brought my landscape lens that day to capture the moment. However I did bring my camera and I did get some photos, so I hope you enjoy!

Happy Friday guys!

Have a great weekend!

Illumanati

So I get to class today and my friend wanted to show me something. It was a report on Illuminati and what it was exactly. Well to be honest I had no idea what the hell it actually was, sure I have heard the term “Illuminati confirmed” but I honestly had no idea what it was.

It turns out to be “a name given to a secret society who wants to create a one world government with themselves in charge.” Sounds simple enough I thought until I kept reading, “the Illuminati are generally powerful and rich people. The Illuminati will kill anyone, anywhere at any time to get what they need” this is when I got a bit hooked on to the subject of Illuminati, but that’s just the start! This group is made out of famous people such as Jay Z, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Kesha, Kim Kardashian and oh the list goes on! There’s so much more to the story too such as murders and etc. My recommendation is that you should research it. It’s such an interesting topic and as soon as I got home I did my research and couldn’t stop reading about it . I know it may be an old topic but its actually quite shocking and fascinating at the same time!

Which leads me on to today’s photo. I had no idea what to do for today so i decided to pay the sibling $2 if she did a pose for me and I actually got some good shots and couldn’t decide which one to put as the feature image!

Well hope you guys have a good Thursday, hang on in there its almost the weekend!

Thanks so much for your support, love you guys so much!

A Walk in the Garden

So I have this thing when I take photos I like to set a theme and one of my latest themes have been ‘A Walk in the Garden’. This theme is basically photos on floral and that sort of area, my collection so isn’t quite big but I’m not planning on stopping anytime soon!

When my family goes on holiday mum and dad always stop at the local botanical gardens “why?” I think its because they like to get ideas for their own garden at home (yeah my parents are garden freaks), but I think that this is actually very fortunate for myself as it is an opportunity for me to add photos to my collection.

Not very many are in this blog but I hope you enjoy!

Love you guys!

Family Day Out

Had such a great time today learnt how to ride a knee-board and got some great photos of the siblings. I wish my life is like this all the time but sadly it isn’t, we’ve got to live the bad moments to enjoy the great moments.
